Subject: Internships available at professional theatre

Hello!

The Hippodrome State Theatre in Gainesville, Florida, is looking for
interns! If you have promising students who are ready to get their foot

in the door of a professional theatre, please pass this information on
to them. We prefer recent college graduates and graduate students, but
talented undergraduates are also welcome to apply.

Interns work with our professional staff in the areas of acting, arts
management, development, education and outreach, marketing and public
relations and technical/design. Qualified candidates may receive
housing, a small stipend, and the opportunity to earn Equity Membership
Candidate status. Interns work full-time for a semester or for a year,
and can start in fall or spring.

For more information, interested students can do one of the following:

call us at (352) 373-5968; fax us at (352) 371-9130; write to us, at
Intern Program, Hippodrome State Theatre, 25 SE Second Place,
Gainesville, FL, 32601; e-mail us at hipp@afn.org; or look up our award
winning Web site at http://hipp.gator.net.
Best of luck for the new term.
Sincerely,

Gillian Martin
Interim Assistant Director of Education (and recent intern)
