The Costumer's Manifesto is written by Tara Maginnis, and proudly hosted by William Baker.

THE MANIFESTO IS MUTATING!  IT IS TURNING INTO A WIKI THAT CAN BECOME THE HIVE MIND OF ALL COSTUMERS, FINALLY LIVING UP TO IT'S SLOGAN: "COSTUMERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!" YOU CAN HELP IN THIS PROCESS BY MOVING PAGES TO THE NEW SITE AT THECOSTUMERSMANIFESTO.COM, HELPING TO EDIT THE PAGES THAT ARE THERE ALREADY, AND ADDING YOUR OWN ORIGINAL INPUT.

Why are a Couple of Straight Chicks Writing the Decorating Column of Pink Ink?

Q: Why are a couple of straight chicks writing the decorating column of Pink Ink?

A: Somebody asked us. Besides, we are related to The House of Exxxcedrin, so it is nepotism among the strange.

Q: Who is Mme. Exxxedrin? And who is M. Exxxedrin?

A: Both are the Dadaist alter egos of Dr. Tara Maginnis of Theatre UAF, the web mistress of The Costumer's Manifesto MVC-011F.JPG (72739 bytes) and "parents" of Lady Augusta Von Bracknell, head of the House of Exxxedrin.

Q: Who is the Mysterious "Garden Boy"?

A:  Tara's "Garden Boy".Mvc-023f.jpg (43528 bytes) The guy who can fix anything, especially your computer.

Q: Why doesn't Auntie Adddvil get a by line?

A: She does the crafts, but won't write the column.  So there.

Q: Why so much Goth stuff?

A: We like it.  Besides we have been dressing like  Edward Gorey drawings periodically since 1977, we were Goth before Goth.  We have always longed for a garden with overgrown topiary, a maze, a hellmouth and a crypt.
