THE MANIFESTO IS MUTATING!  IT IS TURNING INTO A WIKI THAT CAN BECOME THE HIVE MIND OF ALL COSTUMERS, FINALLY LIVING UP TO IT'S SLOGAN: "COSTUMERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!" YOU CAN HELP IN THIS PROCESS BY MOVING PAGES TO THE NEW SITE AT THECOSTUMERSMANIFESTO.COM, HELPING TO EDIT THE PAGES THAT ARE THERE ALREADY, AND ADDING YOUR OWN ORIGINAL INPUT.

Costume Design & Construction I makes Edible Wearable Art Hats

After testing out the edible hat sculpture idea in May 2005, I tried to come up with ways to make the hats truly wearable.  These are some hats made for my 2DCostume exhibit reception in September 2005 that were actually worn.  The foods on the hats were arranged by Costume Design & Construction students, and they were worn by members of Carrie Baker's Advanced Acting Class:
