THE MANIFESTO IS MUTATING! IT IS TURNING INTO A WIKI THAT CAN BECOME THE HIVE MIND OF ALL COSTUMERS, FINALLY LIVING UP TO IT'S SLOGAN: "COSTUMERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!" YOU CAN HELP IN THIS PROCESS BY MOVING PAGES TO THE NEW SITE AT THECOSTUMERSMANIFESTO.COM, HELPING TO EDIT THE PAGES THAT ARE THERE ALREADY, AND ADDING YOUR OWN ORIGINAL INPUT.

Tracy models my felt hat. It was
made by streching wet, gluey felt over a head form and tacking and gluing bits of felt and
eventually anything else I could find onto it. When I began it I was thinking of
"Ziggy Stardust."
My wire-frame mask. Some kind of
bird thing with a horn.
Mutant kangaroos, bloody tiger pelt,
tiger chop and giant eyeball painted onto a sweatshirt. I sprayed stuff, globbed on
gliter & puffy paint, poured water on it, etc. The front was painted flat, the
back I painted on a dummy.
Airballed cat mummy. The cartouche says "Kitty" in hieroglyphics.
My giant ant head foam mask form.
The weird sisters from my "Giant head Francis Bacon Macbeth" concept
Shakespeare.

Mask of Lady MacBeth. Made from
muslin scraps with glue and water. Design made from pink foam core.
Carnival outfit. Cream colored
dress, 1940's wedding dress. Shocking pink and orange was 1970's muumuu. Made
a combo dress that rivets the eye. Enjoy!!
Malibu coat. This silk coat I got
at Valu Village for $1. It is painted with fabric paints. When it is -50 below
zero up here I want to be reminded of southern Califorina.

This is a hat made from felt. I love
whales and it will go great with the Malibu coat.
This is an outfit I wore the Green Monkey
Ball. The skirt is candy striped rayon
from the 1940's.
