Designs for Water Stealers 

Water Stealers is an interactive DVD-Film project by Kade Mendelowitz, being produced by Theatre UAF for launch May 1, 2004.  I have been designing and making some of the costumes for this low budget space opera (pilots & aliens) using mainly stuff we have lying around our Dept.  More info.

These tests showed us that no pattern of paint would make the faces sufficiently "plant-looking" for video, so my costume shop manager Lorraine Pettit devised latex leaves that could be glued to the face to make the features more alien.
