THE MANIFESTO IS MUTATING!  IT IS TURNING INTO A WIKI THAT CAN BECOME THE HIVE MIND OF ALL COSTUMERS, FINALLY LIVING UP TO IT'S SLOGAN: "COSTUMERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!" YOU CAN HELP IN THIS PROCESS BY MOVING PAGES TO THE NEW SITE AT THECOSTUMERSMANIFESTO.COM, HELPING TO EDIT THE PAGES THAT ARE THERE ALREADY, AND ADDING YOUR OWN ORIGINAL INPUT.

Food Ideas for Costumer's Parties

I had an art exhibit opening in September 2005 that I needed to make food for.  I spent months planning costume themed food, and this page shows the ideas I began with, and photos of how these ideas were developed and carried out.

Food hats that are actually WEARABLE?  Go on to see what we made for the 2DCostumes exhibit reception.

Below are a set of chocolate shoes made for the same reception (filled with raspberry sauce, and served in a shoebox lined with whipped cream). These shoes were then smashed and served as pieces of dessert.

A chocolate shoe made using the mold shown below.  The surface of the shoe has been textured with a hot knife to make it more interesting:
