reflection

of sunset

in the domes of the city

we glide along

like swans

waiting for the answers

 

Do we love

each other

or do we love this place

are we happy

with the summer days

or with the lapping of the water

or with our good friends'

good company 

 

Will we remember

one another

when the sun

has faded

and the domes are far

and gone

will we love

and care

as we do now

when summer turns cold
