THE MANIFESTO IS MUTATING!  IT IS TURNING INTO A WIKI THAT CAN BECOME THE HIVE MIND OF ALL COSTUMERS, FINALLY LIVING UP TO IT'S SLOGAN: "COSTUMERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!" YOU CAN HELP IN THIS PROCESS BY MOVING PAGES TO THE NEW SITE AT THECOSTUMERSMANIFESTO.COM, HELPING TO EDIT THE PAGES THAT ARE THERE ALREADY, AND ADDING YOUR OWN ORIGINAL INPUT.

2002 UK Trek with the meeting of Manifesto Fans

I (Tara Maginnis) and my shop head-sidekick Lorraine Pettit have just returned from our trip to The UK and other locations (San Francisco and Las Vegas).  During our trip we met up with a bunch of folks who have heard of us through the Manifesto and did assorted activities with them.  Here we will share our trip photos and some of what we learned and saw.

The Fan Museum in Greenwich

This is of course the tip of the iceberg.  For more pictures see the official site The Fan Museum:  The World's greatest collection of antique and modern fans

One thing you won't see at their site, but must view in person is fanmuseum017.jpg (73385 bytes) the amazing bathroom at the museum that won the "Loo of the Year Award" for 2002.  It has a hand painted design of Chinese blue and white china and fans, educational reading material on the inside doors of the stalls, and more.  This photo shows one tiny corner.
