1999 UK/Paris Costume Tour Pictures Day 11: Musée de la Mode et du Textile, 18th Century Dress

Get up at the crack of dawn and travel by rail & Chunnel to Paris in only 3 hours. Get your Paris Museum card and 3-day Metro pass from Tara on arrival. In the morning check into the Hotel Stella (41 rue Monsieur le Prince)  and spend midday at the Musée de la Mode et du Textile, the Louvre's new and splendid costume museum, as well as the Musee de la Arts Decoratifs. In the evening we’ll collapse on a relaxing night time boat trip to view all the illuminated Paris monuments like the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, etc. that your relatives expect you to see, while sitting down and avoiding the crowds.
